Check a keyword on Google

How the check works

1. 01Enter a keyword and a countryAdd your domain to find where it ranks. The country sets Google's country and language, so “Germany” returns the page a searcher in Germany sees in German.
2. 02Google's page is loaded onceThe checker requests the first results page through the same lane that answers Searlo's /serp endpoint, without a Google account.
3. 03The page is readThe organic results with their positions, the ads, People Also Ask, related searches, and whether an AI Overview, a knowledge panel or videos were on the page.

What the result tells you

• Your position

  Where your domain ranks in the organic top 10, matched on the site's domain rather than on the full URL.

• Who outranks you

  The ten organic results with their titles, domains and snippets, in the order Google showed them.

• What else is on the page

  The number of ads, the People Also Ask questions, related searches, and whether an AI Overview showed above the results.
