Free AI Visibility Checker

See whether ChatGPT and Gemini mention your brand, where it sits among the products they recommend, whether they cite your site, and who they name instead.

Check a brand in ChatGPT and Gemini

To see whether the answers cite your site.

Leave empty to ask what the engines know about the brand.

Free, no account. 3 checks a day. A check asks each engine one question, so it can take up to about a minute and a half.

What you get

  • Whether ChatGPT and Gemini mention the brand, and how often.
  • Where it sits among the products each answer lists.
  • Whether your site is among the sources each answer cites.
  • The other brands and sites the answers name instead.

How the check works

  1. 01Enter a brandAdd your website to check whether the answers cite it, and a question or a category, such as “best CRM for startups”, to check whether the brand is recommended. With neither, the engines are asked what the brand is.
  2. 02Each engine is asked onceThe same question goes to ChatGPT and Gemini, without an account, through the same lanes that answer Searlo's /search/ai endpoint.
  3. 03Each answer is readThe checker counts the brand's mentions, finds its place among the products the answer lists, and compares the sites the answer cites with your domain.

What the result tells you

  • Mentioned or not

Whether each engine names the brand, and how often. Spellings with and without spaces count, and so does your domain.

  • Place in the list

Where the brand sits among the products or companies an answer names in its list, such as third of five.

  • Your site as a source

Whether your domain is among the sites each answer cites, and in which position.

  • Who is named instead

The other brands each answer names and the other sites it cites: the competitors that hold the answer today.

FAQ

Questions about the checker

Is the AI visibility checker free?

Yes. It needs no account and no card. Each visitor gets 3 checks a day, and a question someone else checked in the last 24 hours is answered from that run without using one. To check more prompts, or to check them every day, use the API.

Which AI engines does it check?

ChatGPT and Gemini. The API behind it, /search/ai, also returns Copilot and Perplexity answers, with the sources each one cited.

Why can the answer differ from what I see in ChatGPT?

AI answers change from run to run, and with the account, history and location they are asked from. The checker asks without an account, so its answer is close to what a new visitor would see. Run the same question through the API over several days to see how stable it is.

How does the checker decide a brand is mentioned?

It looks for the brand as a whole word in any case, so “Searlo” matches “searlo's” but not “Searlogic”. It also matches the brand written without spaces or with hyphens, and your domain.

How fresh are the answers?

Answers to a question are kept for 24 hours, so a repeat check is answered from that run. The result shows when the answer was given.

Do you keep what I enter?

The question asked and the answers are cached for 24 hours so the same check can be answered again without asking the engines. Nothing you enter is added to a mailing list or shared.

Need this programmatically? Use Searlo API

The checker is one request per engine to /search/ai. Each answer comes back with its citations and the list of cited domains, at 2–8 credits per answer, so a share-of-voice report is a loop over your prompts.
